Dr. Thao Nguyen graduated from Mercer University with her Bachelor’s of Science in 2009 and graduated from Temple University School of Pharmacy with her Doctorate in Pharmacy in 2013. She currently works as a pharmacy manager for Walgreens Local Specialty Pharmacy.  Her goal is to increase access to healthcare and to tightened the gap for health disparity locally and in developing countries.  This is accomplished by working with multiple non-profit organizations through various programs such as Vietnamese Medical Charity Organization – Hội Y Tế Bác Ái’s Medication Assistance Program; Vietnamese American Healthcare Provider Association of Georgia’s Community Health Committee; Second Chance Aid – Ngọn Nến Tình Yêu’s medical board and Walgreens Local Specialty financial assistance for specialty medications and community flu clinics.  Her goal is to bridge the gap of healthcare through her work.
